Auto-Generating User Names and Passwords

SuccessNet automatically generates user names and passwords for students who appear on the class roster, but do not yet have a user name and password.  

To auto-generate user names and passwords:

1. On the Auto Generate User Names and Passwords page, type a user name prefix in the User name prefix field. The prefix must contain at least 5 characters; the maximum length is 20 characters.

Tip: Choose a prefix that is easy for your students to remember.

2. Click Continue.

After SuccessNet creates a user name and password, the student should change the auto-generated password to a unique password as soon as possible. Remember that user names and passwords are case-sensitive.
